FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 19 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21530.79 crore against gross selling of Rs 18887.55 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2643.24 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1175.31 crore against gross sales of Rs 1214.16 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 38.85 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 257.05 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 159.96 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 135.94 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7.11 crore against gross selling of Rs 24.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 17.39 crore in hybrid segment.
