FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 22 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17898.65 crore against gross selling of Rs 16239.58 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1659.07 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1833.80 crore against gross sales of Rs 1343.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 490.20 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 131.63 crore, while they were net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 162.97 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 458.86 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 39.29 crore against gross selling of Rs 48.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9.33 crore in hybrid segment.
