FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 22 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10105.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 11416.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1311.16 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1939.38 crore with gross sales of Rs 1486.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 453.34 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.53 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2.48 crore in hybrid segment.
