FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 19 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14388.45 crore against gross selling of Rs 15310.79 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 922.34 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1378.28 crore with gross sales of Rs 3199.82 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1821.54 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1333.18 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 716.35 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 227.99 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16.07 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 7.73 crore in hybrid segment.
