FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 12 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10236.97 crore against gross selling of Rs 11201.57 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 964.60 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1348.53 crore with gross sales of Rs 989.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 359.08 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 132.57 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 115.00 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 376.65 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.47 crore against gross selling of Rs 9.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 17.38 crore in hybrid segment.
