FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 22 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 37582.73 crore against gross selling of Rs 36454.34 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1128.39 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3092.98 crore with gross sales of Rs 1315.84 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1777.14 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 611.32 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 36.57 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1202.39 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 553.12 crore against gross selling of Rs 392.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 160.34 crore in hybrid segment.
