FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per September 19 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12415.12 crore against gross selling of Rs 11630.01 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 785.11 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3624.60 crore with gross sales of Rs 2252.03 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1372.57 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 663.84 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 227.42 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 936.15 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21.57 crore against gross selling of Rs 22.64 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.07 crore in hybrid segment.
