FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per November 04 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22153.19 crore against gross selling of Rs 15100.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 7052.74 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1778.44 crore against gross sales of Rs 2516.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 738.37 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 81.45 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 120.48 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 699.34 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 8.50 crore against gross selling of Rs 48.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 40.31 crore in hybrid segment.
