FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per June 18 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15693.94 crore against gross selling of Rs 14807.86 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 886.08 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3274.63 crore with gross sales of Rs 1451.23 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1823.40 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 967.60 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 182.45 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 673.35 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21.75 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.84 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1.91 crore in hybrid segment.
