FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per June 09 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15541.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 14276.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1265.00 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2120.10 crore with gross sales of Rs 1451.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 668.42 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 736.25 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 374.00 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 306.17 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 25.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 39.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 13.50 crore in hybrid segment.
