Hero MotoCorp surges on completing acquisition of 26% equity stake in Clean Max Karakoram
Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 5602.50, up by 88.10 points or 1.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 5514.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 5514.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5625.00 and Rs. 5510.00 respectively. So far 5441 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5704.00 on 23-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3322.60 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5663.90 and Rs. 5493.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 112090.02 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.73%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.15% and 10.11% respectively.
Hero MotoCorp has completed the acquisition of 26% equity stake in Clean Max Karakoram (Special Purpose Vehicle) from Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions. The move is part of the company’s plan to invest in a Solar Power Wheeling project, for the Company’s Dharuhera and Gurugram manufacturing plants under the captive scheme.
The objective of the acquisition is to increase renewable footprint under Group Captive mechanism with equity investment by the company in the above said SPV to be created by Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions under Green Energy Open Access Regulations 2023 of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission. The said acquisition is for an initial investment of Rs 26,000 and the balance amount will be invested as per the terms of Share Subscription and Shareholders Agreement dated October 30, 2025 entered between the parties.
