FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per February 20 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 32022.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 23806.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 8216.28 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 845.89 crore with gross sales of Rs 2848.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2002.92 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1424.71 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 5.69 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 583.9 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 29.03 crore against gross selling of Rs 100.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 71.07 crore in hybrid segment.
