FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 5 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20800.57 crore against gross selling of Rs 17936.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2863.58 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4268.05 crore with gross sales of Rs 3852.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 415.36 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 191.72 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 108.48 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 498.60 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 66.87 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 40.41 crore in hybrid segment.
