FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 10 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16889.82 crore against gross selling of Rs 16290.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 599.78 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1145.92 crore with gross sales of Rs 854.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 291.68 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 410.50 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 170.18 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 51.36 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17.70 crore against gross selling of Rs 28.94 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 11.24 crore in hybrid segment.
