FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 23 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19040.35 crore against gross selling of Rs 17188.22 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1852.13 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 759.91 crore with gross sales of Rs 2625.96 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1866.05 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 501.33 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 481.96 crore in hybrid segment.
