FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 22 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10965.41 crore against gross selling of Rs 11613.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 648.25 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1855.86 crore with gross sales of Rs 3173.77 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1317.91 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 510.96 crore, Debt-VRR segment at Rs 85.19 crore, and Debt-FAR segment at Rs 721.76 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 46.12 crore against gross selling of Rs 19.15 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 26.97 crore in hybrid segment.
