FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 06 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16758.57 crore against gross selling of Rs 15197.26 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1561.31 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3089.99 crore with gross sales of Rs 2155.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 934.00 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 234 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 326.61 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1026.61 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19.98 crore against gross selling of Rs 69.75 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 49.77 crore in hybrid segment.
