FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per June 17 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16020.74 crore against gross selling of Rs 13135.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2885.14 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 5391.63 crore with gross sales of Rs 1752.81 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3638.82 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 2274.47 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 88.75 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1275.60 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 1404.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1388.73 crore in hybrid segment.
