Central Bank of India rises on posting 29% growth in gross advances in Q1FY27

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 32.88, up by 0.33 points or 1.01% from its previous closing of Rs. 32.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 33.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 33.19 and Rs. 32.61 respectively. So far 907858 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 40.91 on 26-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 29.35 on 02-Jun-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 34.16 and Rs. 31.86 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 29670.49 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 89.27%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.56% and 5.17% respectively.

Central Bank of India’s gross advances stood at Rs 3,54,895 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27), posting a 28.77% rise in year-on-year (Y-o-Y) terms against Rs 2,75,595 crore as of June 30, 2025. Total deposits grew 11.66% to Rs 4,78,895 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2026, as compared to Rs 4,28,890 crore as of June 30, 2025.

Total business stood at Rs 8,33,840 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2026, posting a 18.36% rise in Y-o-Y terms against Rs 7,04,485 crore as of June 30, 2025. Further, CASA Deposits grew 11.14% to Rs 222865 crore (provisional) as of June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 200522 crore as of June 30, 2025. CASA Ratio stood at 46.61% (provisional) as of June 30, 2026 versus 46.88% as of June 30, 2025.
