Everest Industries touches roof on getting nod to invest in Amplus Ampere

Everest Industries is currently trading at upper limit of Rs. 492.65, up by 9.65 points or 2.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 483.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 492.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 492.65 and Rs. 492.65 respectively. So far 10 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1267.90 on 23-May-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 421.20 on 08-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 492.65 and Rs. 457.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 779.37 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.15%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.41% and 39.45% respectively.
Everest Industries has received approval to invest in Amplus Ampere (Amplus) aggregating to Rs 1.76 crore, through acquisition of 17,60,000 equity shares at face value of Rs 10 per share at par in the Amplus and to avail 5.5 MWp solar power under a group captive policy from the solar plant of Amplus.
The purpose of acquiring shares is availing Captive open access for solar energy and thereby increasing the company's utilisation of renewable energy in the state of Maharashtra. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on May 19, 2025, has approved the same.
