Dilip Buildcon surges on emerging as L-1 bidder for Madhya Pradesh project

Dilip Buildcon is currently trading at Rs. 474.60, up by 23.75 points or 5.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 450.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 466.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 485.90 and Rs. 462.60 respectively. So far 2096 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 485.90 on 16-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 159.70 on 19-May-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 485.90 and Rs. 375.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6592.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.15%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.95% and 17.90% respectively.

Dilip Buildcon through Joint Venture Vijay Kumar Mishra Construction-Dilip Buildcon (JV) (VKMCPL-DBL (JV)) has been declared as L-1 bidder for the tender floated by the Water Resources Department, Madhya Pradesh. The project is for Construction of Machhrewa Irrigation Project Dam and Pressurized pipe irrigation network on turn key basis, District Narsingpur in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The bid project cost is Rs 412.92 crore. The completion period of the project is 60 months.

Dilip Buildcon’s core business is undertaking construction projects across India in the roads and irrigation sectors. They specialize in constructing state and national highways, city roads, culverts and bridges.
