A worshipper named Aishwarya shared with ANI that the festival has been a longstanding tradition that attracts participants from various communities.
“This village is Vadakkampatti close to Madurai. This festival has been celebrated here for a very long time and people from several communities get involved. The speciality is the biryani that they prepare here. Biryani is provided as prasadam to people of all communities...”, said Aishwarya.
