Avantel gains on securing purchase order worth Rs 11.36 crore

Avantel is currently trading at Rs. 115.50, up by 2.10 points or 1.85% from its previous closing of Rs. 113.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 113.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 118.15 and Rs. 113.20 respectively. So far 210461 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 223.80 on 09-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 99.05 on 15-Apr-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 126.80 and Rs. 110.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2809.57 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.58%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.07% and 60.36% respectively.
Avantel has received a purchase order worth of Rs 11.36 crore (Incl. Taxes) for supply of satcom systems from M/s Goa Shipyard. The said order is to be executed between February 2026 to March 2027.
Earlier, the company had purchase order worth of Rs 1.64 crore on February 24, 2025, from Larsen & Toubro.
Avantel is actively involved in design and development of products based on High Power Broad band Wireless, Satellite Communication and Broad band access technologies.
