Delhi: Dense fog leads to delays in trains, flights; passengers face difficulties

Several flights and trains were delayed due to fog in Delhi on December 30. Rush of passengers was witnessed at Indira Gandhi International Airport and they were frustrated due to flight delay.
One of the passengers said, “We are going to Gangtok, Sikkim to celebrate New Year but our flight is delayed by 2 hours. If it gets delayed further, we will complain.”
Similar scenes were witnessed at New Delhi Junction Railway Station. Several trains were delayed for hours and passengers were waiting at platform amid bone-chilling cold.
"I am going to Mata Vaishno Devi and our train is late by more than two hours. Our train was supposed to arrive at 5.30 but it hasn't arrived yet," said a passenger.
