 Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) was launched by Chief Executive Officer of Srinagar Smart City Limited Dr Owais Ahmad along with other officials at Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Srinagar. It aims to revolutionise traffic management in the city and enhancing efficiency and safety through state-of-the-art technology. It integrates real-time traffic monitoring, automated signal control and data-driven decision making to ensure smooth vehicular movement and reduce congestion. Srinagar has a dense population and all types of traffic vehicles are increasing day by day which results controlling traffic is becoming a challenging task for authorities. So to control accidents and bring transparency in the whole system, authorities launched this system with high-tech technology. ITMS is a significant step under Srinagar Smart City Project, reflecting the administration's commitment to creating a modern, sustainable, and citizen-friendly urban environment.
