IG Garhwal Range Rajeev Swaroop reviews Kanwar Yatra Mela security, vows peaceful conduct
IG Garhwal Range Rajeev Swaroop conducted an inspection of the ongoing Kanwar Yatra Mela to review security and crowd management arrangements. Highlighting the large influx of devotees each year, he emphasized the police's commitment to ensuring a peaceful and well-organized yatra. He said “A huge number of devotees visit Uttarakhand every year. They travel a long distance to come here and then return. We ensure that the meal is carried out peacefully. Some incidents took place in the last few days, we have taken strict action against those anti-social elements”
