Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 25 said that more than Rs 6,000 crores has been sanctioned for lakhs of Sakhi Mandals across the country.
"Today, Lakhpati Didi's Maha Sammelan is being held here. My sisters are present here in large numbers. Today, an amount of more than Rs 6,000 crores has been released from here for lakhs of Sakhi Mandals across the country. This money will help in making lakhs of sisters Lakhpati Didi. I also see the glorious culture and values of Maharashtra in all of you and the values of Maharashtra are spread not only in India but all over the world..."
