Deccan Cements moves up on incorporating wholly owned subsidiary in Jaisalmer

Deccan Cements is currently trading at Rs. 555.50, up by 4.30 points or 0.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 551.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 552.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 555.50 and Rs. 549.70 respectively. So far 106 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 668.00 on 20-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 388.00 on 27-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 611.35 and Rs. 525.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 778.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.25%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.56% and 33.19% respectively.

Deccan Cements has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) in the name of Deccan Swarna Cements to implement the future project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The company has incorporated WOS on March 13, 2024.

Deccan Cements is engaged in the manufacturing and selling of Cement and generation and selling of power from hydel and wind sources.
