CRISIL jumps as its Q3 consolidated net profit rises by 13%

CRISIL is currently trading at Rs. 4913.30, up by 123.45 points or 2.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 4789.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4993.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5184.50 and Rs. 4871.00 respectively. So far 35016 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5264.80 on 26-Mar-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3665.10 on 25-Jan-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5184.50 and Rs. 4479.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 35930.79 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.64%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.92% and 13.44% respectively.

CRISIL has reported 49.36% rise in its net profit at Rs 201.02 crore for third quarter ended September 30, 2024 (Q3) as compared to Rs 134.59 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 19.63% at Rs 581.33 crore for third quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 485.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 12.87% rise in net profit at Rs 171.55 crore for the third quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 151.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.95% at Rs 833.20 crore for third quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 771.84 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
