“Equity market today saw a restrained bounce back from the heavy selling witnessed in the previous trading day, as the major indexes showed a bounce-back on the back of buyers buying beaten down large-caps. The positive mood was backed by increased risk appetites, stability in international equities, along with buying in important sectors like finance and energy. The mood of the markets got an additional boost due to specific stocks where Vedanta Oil & Gas made a sharp move upwards after the favourable Delhi High Court verdict with regards to arbitral awards. However, the rally was restrained as traders were still concerned about crude oil prices, geopolitics in the Middle East, and the coming quarter Q1FY27 results season. Looking ahead, the direction of the market would depend on data, with earnings, crude oil prices, foreign institutional flows, and international developments likely to influence investor moods.”
