FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per July 09 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 24798.84 crore against gross selling of Rs 15310.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 9488.75 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1138.22 crore with gross sales of Rs 1331.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 193.71 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 257.61 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 217.99 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 281.89 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 34.35 crore against gross selling of Rs 12.26 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 22.09 crore in hybrid segment.
