Framework of raising funds through public issue is already in place and regulated by SEBI. These platforms are creating alternatives for the existing framework. It's a good idea to first sensitise about the bad evils these platforms may cause and secondly it may be looked at regulating these platforms which may lead to increase in horizons of the capital market.
