The Federal Reserve is expected to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged at its upcoming meeting ECB policymakers backed further rate cuts, signaling that next week's reduction is nearly certain. Rate decisions from the Fed and ECB are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday next week.
