Actor Alia Bhatt was conferred with Best Actress Award for her performance in the film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' at 69th National Film Awards on Oct 17. Alia received the award from President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony that took place at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur was also present on the occasion.
"It is a big moment...I am very grateful," said Alia Bhatt.
Alia arrived at the ceremony along with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. She has jointly won Best Actor award with Kriti Sanon, who won in same category for her performance in the film 'Mimi'.
