Indian Oil`s Kamal Sheel briefs on Odisha`s readiness on energy supply amid West Asia conflict
CGM and state head, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Kamal Sheel said, "As long as Odisha is concerned, we are maintaining sufficient stocks of petrol, diesel and LPG, and stable supplies are being maintained regularly right from the last one month... As long as LPG is concerned, we have taken certain steps in the beginning as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and accordingly, commercial supplies were restricted, whereas domestic supplies were continuing right from the beginning... After the first delivery, the next booking, which was originally 21 days, has been increased to 25 days. Similarly, for rural areas, it was increased to 45 days..."
