BHEL rises on bagging LoI worth Rs 6700 crore from SCCL

Bharat Heavy Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 193.45, up by 0.30 points or 0.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 193.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 193.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 195.00 and Rs. 188.40 respectively. So far 260447 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 335.40 on 09-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 185.20 on 29-Jan-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 209.90 and Rs. 188.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 67726.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.47% and 13.36% respectively.

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL) for EPC Pkg. of 1x800 MW Singareni Stage-II project. The order includes supply and erection, testing & commissioning works - Boiler, Turbine, Generator, FGD and associated auxiliaries along with electrical and C&I, Balance of Plant Packages; and Associated Civil Works. Broad consideration or size of the order is around Rs 6700 crore excl. taxes & duties.
