Bharti Airtel rises on expanding network footprint in Vadodara

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 1224.10, up by 15.70 points or 1.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 1208.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1202.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1229.55 and Rs. 1189.50 respectively. So far 232560 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1244.95 on 22-Mar-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 752.20 on 03-Apr-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1238.65 and Rs. 1189.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 742459.32 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.57% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.30% and 3.13% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has deployed additional sites in Vadodara district to densify its network. The network expansion project in Vadodara was undertaken across 320 villages covering 4.25 lakh population base. Customers in the tehsils of Vadodara, Savli, Padra, Vaghodia, Karjan under the Vadodara district will directly benefit from this network expansion. 

The expansion will enable seamless access to high-speed connectivity that will ensure reliable mobile network for work, study and entertainment in rural parts of Vadodara. In this year alone, Airtel has doubled down on its commitment to the state and has invested additional capex to enhance its network connectivity for seamless experience on 4G, 5G, Broadband and Fiber.
