Bharat Heavy Electricals moves up on bagging LoI worth Rs 11,800 crore from CSPGCL

Bharat Heavy Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 216.90, up by 2.45 points or 1.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 214.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 215.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 221.25 and Rs. 214.15 respectively. So far 1187299 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 335.40 on 09-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 176.00 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 221.90 and Rs. 208.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 75543.36 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.47% and 13.36% respectively.
Bharat Heavy Electricals has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company (CSPGCL) for EPC package of 2x660 MW Supercritical thermal power plant at Hasdeo thermal power station, Korba West in Korba District, Chhattisgarh. The order includes, supply of supercritical equipment - boiler, turbine, generator and associated auxiliaries along with electrical, C&I, balance of plant packages, erection & commissioning works, and civil works.
Broad consideration or size of the order is around Rs 11,800 crore (excluding taxes & duties). The order is to be executed within 60 months.
Bharat Heavy Electricals is an Indian central public sector undertaking and the largest government-owned power generation equipment manufacture.
