FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per August 12 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14948.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 15121.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 172.83 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 953.22 crore with gross sales of Rs 1075.16 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 121.94 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 238.82 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 442.62 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 81.86 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7.67 crore against gross selling of Rs 21.64 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 13.97 crore in hybrid segment.
