Bharat Forge rises as its arms’ electronics division collaborates with AMD

Bharat Forge is currently trading at Rs. 1043.85, up by 2.80 points or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 1041.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1045.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1048.00 and Rs. 1040.00 respectively. So far 10220 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1826.20 on 21-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1037.25 on 24-Feb-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1103.95 and Rs. 1037.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 49816.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.38% and 9.55% respectively.

Electronics division of Kalyani Powertrain, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge, has collaborated with AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) to enter the Indian server market. This collaboration marks a major milestone in advancing India's server infrastructure by integrating cutting-edge AMD technology into domestically manufactured solutions.

The servers manufactured through this partnership will feature AMD EPYC processors, known for their leadership performance, energy efficiency, security features, and ability to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for data centers. Looking ahead, there are plans to incorporate AMD Instinct accelerators, enhancing AI and high-performance computing capabilities. AMD will provide design collaterals and technical documentation to support electronics division of Kalyani Powertrain in building and optimizing these solutions, helping ensure they meet global standards.

This collaboration plays a crucial role in bolstering India’s Make in India initiative by fostering local manufacturing and reducing dependency on imports. The collaboration will empower enterprises, cloud providers, hyperscalers, and government organizations with high-performance, cost-efficient server solutions tailored for AI workloads, cloud computing, and large-scale data processing.

Bharat Forge is engaged in manufacturing of close die and open die forging, crankshafts, front axle beams, steering knuckle, connecting rods, rocker arm and many more components.
