Best Agrolife gains after its arm gets patent from Indian Patent office

Best Agrolife is currently trading at Rs. 1046.90, up by 9.45 points or 0.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 1037.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1037.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1048.50 and Rs. 1021.05 respectively. So far 17988 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1774.45 on 05-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 886.60 on 30-May-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1048.50 and Rs. 980.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2470.88 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.49% and 37.41% respectively.

Best Agrolife’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Seedlings India has been granted a patent by the Indian Patent office -Government of India, for an invention entitled ‘Synergistic Granular Herbicidal Composition for Paddy’ for the term of 20 years commencing from March 10, 2022 in accordance with the provisions of the patents Act,1970.

Earlier, the company’s arm had been granted a patent for an invention entitled ‘Synergistic Pesticidal Composition Comprising Pymetrozine, Dinotefuran and Suitable Strobilurin Fungicide’.
