PVR INOX trades higher on the BSE

PVR Inox is currently trading at Rs. 1443.45, up by 12.05 points or 0.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 1431.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1434.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1444.80 and Rs. 1427.85 respectively. So far 12947 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2211.55 on 04-Aug-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1336.50 on 17-May-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1447.15 and Rs. 1395.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14132.58 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 27.46%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 61.39% and 11.15% respectively.

PVR INOX has opened its new 7-screen multiplex at Global Mall, Mysore Road in Bengaluru. The opening marks the 6th multisensory 4DX auditorium in Bengaluru and will augment PVR INOX presence in the city with 24 properties and 146 screens.

With the opening, PVR INOX strengthens its presence in Karnataka with 189 screens in 34 properties and consolidates its foothold in South India with 530 screens in 95 properties. The cinema is housed in Global Mall located next to Nayandahalli Metro Station and has a seating capacity of 1189 with last row recliners. The cinema is equipped with the best-in-class theatrical solutions including the SP4K next- generation laser projectors that deliver ultra-high resolution, sharp, and bright images. Furthermore, the audis feature advanced Dolby Atmos audio and Next-Gen 3D technology for an immersive experience.

PVR completed the merger of INOX Leisure Limited, effective February 06, 2023. The merged entity is the largest film exhibition company in India.
