BEML moves up on securing order worth Rs 2501 crore
BEML is currently trading at Rs. 4270.00, up by 82.10 points or 1.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 4187.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 4201.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4338.95 and Rs. 4185.80 respectively. So far 19033 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5489.15 on 05-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2385.00 on 05-Dec-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4338.95 and Rs. 3709.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17912.97 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.18% and 21.79% respectively.
BEML has secured a contract from M/s. Chennai Metro Rail for design, manufacture, supply, testing, commissioning, training of personnel and comprehensive Maintenance contract of fifteen years of standard gauge metro rolling stock (Electrical Multiple Units) and depot machinery & plant valued at around Rs 2501 crore.
BEML is a Public Sector Undertaking for manufacture of Rail Coaches & Spare Parts and Mining Equipment.
