Bajaj Auto gains on reporting 5% rise in June sales

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 9591.75, up by 92.65 points or 0.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 9499.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 9500.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 9696.55 and Rs. 9500.00 respectively. So far 1760 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 10037.30 on 18-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4544.00 on 14-Aug-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 9825.00 and Rs. 9365.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 268515.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.06% and 21.88% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 5% in total sales to 3,58,477 units in June 2024 as against 3,40,981 in the same month last year. Total domestic (2-WH + CV) sales increased by 8% to 2,16,451 units in June 2024 as compared to 1,99,983 units in June 2023. Total exports (2-WH + CV) increased by 1% to 1,42,026 units in June 2024 as compared to 1,40,998 units in June 2023.        

Total domestic two-wheeler sales were up by 7% at 1,77,207 units in June 2024 as compared to 1,66,292 units in the year-ago month. Total domestic Commercial Vehicles sales stood at 39,244 units in June 2024 as against 33,691 units in June 2023, registering a rise of 16%.
