SML Isuzu gains on reporting 37.9% rise in June sales
SML Isuzu is currently trading at Rs. 2185.60, up by 16.30 points or 0.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 2169.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2187.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2240.00 and Rs. 2176.10 respectively. So far 1619 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2470.05 on 26-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 989.95 on 13-Jul-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2260.25 and Rs. 2023.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3139.33 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.81% and 40.23% respectively.
SML Isuzu has sold 1764 vehicles in June 2024 as against 1279 vehicles in June 2023, showing a growth of 37.9% year-on-year (Y-o-Y). Segment-wise, in June 2024, the company's passenger vehicles sales stood at 1425 units, up 40.3% Y-o-Y. Cargo vehicles sales were at 339 units, up 28.9% Y-o-Y.
SML Isuzu manufactures a range of vehicles such as trucks, buses and ambulances. The company has launched products like 4WD, Samrat, Sartaj, Dual Cab, Supreme-8 tonner, Truck- Super 12, Super ALFD and many more.
