Ayodhya lit with 28 lakh ‘Diyas’ on banks of Saryu River as part of grand ‘Deepotsav’ celebration

Ayodhya organised a grand Deepotsav on October 30 on the eve of Diwali and illuminated lakhs of 'Diyas' on Choti Diwali. The temple town aims to set a new Guinness world record by lighting over 28 lakh 'Diyas' (earthen lamps) during 'Deepotsav 2024' and broke its previous world record of 22.23 lakh Diyas lit last year on Diwali eve.
