Axis Bank trades higher on the BSE

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1237.90, up by 6.40 points or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 1231.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1237.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1238.25 and Rs. 1227.60 respectively. So far 54036 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1339.55 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 951.55 on 25-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1238.25 and Rs. 1177.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 381648.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 8.31%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 85.06% and 6.64% respectively.

Axis Bank’s private banking business -- Burgundy Private is aiming to expand its wealth management services to 15 new cities, increasing its presence to 42 locations across India. With this strategic move, Burgundy Private will now offer its bespoke wealth management services tailored to the unique needs of discerning clients in India's rapidly evolving Tier 2 markets. 

The new locations, to start with, include Bhubaneswar, Patna, Raipur, Agra, Ghaziabad, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jalandhar, Meerut, Belgaum, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Aurangabad, Nagpur, and Gandhidham. By leveraging its expertise, technology, and data analytics, Burgundy Private aims to deliver personalised solutions that meet the evolving expectations of affluent clients in these emerging geographies. 

Burgundy Private has an AUM of nearly Rs 2.07 trillion, a 33 per cent increase YoY, and currently manages wealth for over 13,000 families across 27 cities. 

Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India. The bank offers the entire spectrum of services to customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates, SME, Agriculture and Retail Businesses.
