The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14873.26 crore against gross selling of Rs 16020.79 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1147.53 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2299.11 crore with gross sales of Rs 1175.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1123.63 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 381.15 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 128.47crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 614.01 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19.20 crore against gross selling of Rs 35.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 16.26 crore in hybrid segment.
