Ashok Leyland gains on bagging order from Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation

Ashok Leyland is currently trading at Rs. 237.10, up by 1.05 points or 0.44% from its previous closing of Rs. 236.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 237.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 238.10 and Rs. 236.40 respectively. So far 51084 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 264.70 on 27-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 190.40 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 241.30 and Rs. 234.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 69566.33 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.64% and 10.84% respectively.

Ashok Leyland has bagged an order for supplying 543 nos. BSVI Diesel Chassis and Fully Built Buses to Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation at a total consideration of Rs 183.80 crore (approximate). The said order is expected to be completed between June 2025 to December 2025.
