Active Clothing Co has entered into an arrangement for the Pan-India distribution of four globally recognized brands - Levi’s, Nike, Jordan Kids and Ben Sherman Men’s through Shop-in-Shop formats at Multi-Brand Stores across India. The company has signed Pan-India distribution rights for the said Shop-in-Shop operations with Apparel Group, the authorized licensee for the Indian market for the relevant brands.
This development represents an important step in the company’s evolution from a strong regional distribution platform in Upper North India to a Pan-India distribution and retail operations platform. The new operations are projected to create an additional revenue opportunity of around Rs 100 crore over the next 3-4 years, subject to market conditions, store expansion and execution.
Over the years, the company has built strong relationships, developed market capabilities and established an execution platform in its existing markets. The Pan-India mandate provides an opportunity to leverage this platform on a significantly larger scale and expand its presence across cities, stores and consumer markets throughout India.
